DMCA Policy

1. Overview

1Hedge respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our website or services.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement on 1hedge.com, please provide us with a written notice containing the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed

  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner

4. Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notification, we will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the content provider, member, or user that the material has been removed
  • Provide the content provider with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe that material was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts

6. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate access for users and account holders who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

7. Good Faith

Please note that misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability. Consult legal counsel before submitting a notice if you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright.
